Back to square one.

Well its been awhile since I have wrote on my blog but I have been super busy lately! I don't even know where to start.
Well lets see, Lance had went to put in his application for the Seattle P.D. and we were super excited because it would be a great job, good money, he would be home every night and we could start a family. Well a couple of days ago Lance got a voice mail from one of the recruiters and the major of Seattle said no more recruiting for this year. so we are back to square one, we have no idea what we are going to do and what we are doing, so i am under a LOT of stress right now. I was hoping that we could have a baby and buy a house, have a normal life and now all that is taken away and i feel that I am NEVER going to have a baby or a home to call our own.
On top of all that I have scoliosis, its not bad the doctor said but i have it and i have to get an MRI done which freaks me out because I can't sit in something that is little! I'm panicking just thinking about it right now! I just hope this doesn't hurt me in the long turn.
I also find out that starting in the binging of next month that I will be a manager at Trade Secret. I am excited about that because its a pay raise and we need to start saving because we have no idea what we will be doing or if we will even have a job.
I just hope that we have good news around the corner because I am really sick of having nothing but bad news slap me in the face.

Busy week!

Well it's been a VERY busy week. My mother, brother and little cousin came to visit Lance and I for a week. It was nice seeing a familiar face and also have a week off work to show my family what Hawaii has to offer. :)
We were up and gone from 10am in the morning until around dinner time. We went to the beach almost every day trying to get a tan, that way my mom had proof that she was on vacation and well for me too because I was VERY white! We also went all around the Island, a Luau where they danced and we ate Hawaiian food, we also went to a macadamia nut farm were they showed us where Gilligan's Island, 50 first dates, you me and Dupree, Jurassic Park and Lost were filmed. We also got a little surprise when we were they, we seen the crew members of lost, it was pretty cool to see. :)
Also this past week Lance had gotten his wisdom teeth pulled, we are trying to get all of our medical needs out of the way before we depart from the military, who knows when we will be getting Insurance and how long! He is doing a little better and healing well.
Also this week I had gone to my Psychical Therapy doctor this week and was given an T.E.N.S. A tens is a electrical pulse that numbs the pain in my back and helps me relax a little better. If this doesn't help in the next 2 weeks I will be going to Psychical Medicine and I can only think of what they will be doing to me there! I just Pray that this tens unit will end my pain!
This coming week I will be going back to work but when I do no more full time for me. I am going down to part-time. I feel that I am running around in cycles and i don't get any rest and on top of it my back can't handle it anymore. The doctor had asked me about looking for a new job BUT being Military and in Hawaii, I am very blessed to even have a job so I told him that really wasn't going to happen until I am back on mainland.
Well any who nothing else is new, back to working and working some more....buh-bye vacation.

BREAKING POINT!!!

So I have totally hit my breaking point! I can't deal with my job and this island any longer. I need to get in my car and drive somewhere, I just want to be able to drive cross country! I know that I should be grateful that I am living in great weather but I would take snow any day just to be able to drive cross country, to be with my family and friends, to get away from my job!!!
I miss my Dental career all the time, I feel that I am wasting away good knowledge working at where I am now. I feel that when I leave work my brain does this..."DAAAAAAAAAAAAA" rather then learning something knowledgeable! OH MAN!
I know that I am sitting here complaining but you know what.....It's my page and I can complain if i want too, I can't always be happy like some people in this world.
Okay, I think I am done for today complaining and venting. :)

GREAT NEWS!

SO today lance got a call from the Seattle P.D. to let him know that in July there will testing and applying and so guess where we will be going this July for a vacation?! Seattle!!! I know It's not close to home but it's a good job with benefits and it bets the Military by a thousand!
Besides the great news that lance and I got, we waited forever in the Dental clinic at Tripler today thinking that Lance was getting his wisdom teeth pulled to find out that it was just a pre-op and that we have to come back. We are trying to "knock" all the medical stuff out of the way, that way we don't have to pay out of pock when he gets out of the military. Oh what fun he will be when he gets his surgery done!
Next week my mom, brother and cousin will be coming to visit Lance and I for a week!! I can't wait to have some time off and to see family, It's nice when we have visitors:) Now its just trying to figure out this week what we will be doing that is going to be cheap but yet fun, we need to save as much as we can for moving and a new car! Oh i can't wait for a new car, we need one SO bad!

My first blog.

First off the only reason that I am starting this blog is because I live so faraway from my family and friends and I would like to keep everyone in the "loop" because I really don't talk much on the phone to everyone back home because of the time difference.
Any who, as of right now Lance and I are living in Hawaii, just encase everyone forgot, he he. I am very blessed to say that I live in Hawaii but to be truthful I cannot wait to leave here and be on the mainland! I want to hold a Jimmy John sandwich in my hands so bad that its killing me and oh yeah Apple bees too, YUM!
Right now I am doing a Bible study about Heaven and I find it VERY interesting, there is some things that i didn't know and kind of embarrassed, but I am not going into detail with that. :) I love reading the word of God every morning, I feel like I start my day off on the right foot and it also makes me think twice about what I should say and how I should react.
Also right now Lance is looking into becoming a cop and still continuing to take collage courses to get his bachelors degree in criminal justice so he can work in the U.S. Marshall field. It is something that he wants so bad and something I want him to have too. I cannot wait until we no longer have to be with the military anymore and we can go on a vacation or home whenever we want and not when the military tell us when we can! Okay, none venting. :)
As of right now Lance and I are talking about having a baby BUT and that's a BIG BUT Amanda, if lance can get a good job and we know where and what we will be doing, I am thinking by the beginning of next year we will be trying :D
